Migrants
Greece and Italy on Friday reported the arrival of nearly 2,000 migrants from Turkey and North Africa.
The Greek coast guards reported in Athens that more than 1,700 migrants arrived in the Greek port of Piraeus from Turkey via the islands of Lesbos, Chios and Samos.

It said the number makes more than 12,000 migrants to arrive in Piraeus this week.
Meanwhile, the Italian coast guards reported rescuing 99 migrants from a dinghy in the Mediterranean off the coast of Sicily overnight.
The UN Refugee Agency UNHCR and the International Organisation for Migration, said more than 800,000 migrants came via the Aegean Sea from Turkey into Greece this year, and 150,000 from North Africa to Italy.
