The United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP) have listed Nigeria among countries at high risk of worsening food insecurity. The agencies cited insecurity, economic challenges, climate-related issues, and reduced humanitarian funding as major factors that could increase hunger in the coming months if urgent interventions are not implemented.
