Funnybone Advises Women Against Allowing Media to Shape Their Views on Marriage

Nigerian comedian and actor Chibunna Stanley, popularly known as Funnybone, has urged women to be more intentional about the content they consume on social media, warning against allowing negative online narratives to shape their perceptions of relationships.

In a message shared via his Instagram page, the entertainer encouraged young women to carefully curate their online experiences and avoid content that constantly promotes fear, resentment, or emotional distress.

According to Funnybone, relying on the negative experiences of others to form opinions about men can create unfair assumptions and influence future relationships before they even begin.

“Dear young lady, curate your algorithm. Stop feeding your mind with content that constantly triggers pain, fear, and resentment. Don’t let other people’s experiences shape how you view a man who hasn’t even entered your life yet,” he wrote.

The comedian further advised women to focus on content that promotes personal growth, emotional healing, and maturity, stressing that every individual’s journey is unique.

He expressed optimism that people can have positive relationship experiences regardless of the challenges others may have faced.

“Consume content that inspires growth, healing, and emotional maturity. Your story can be different, and your experience can be beautiful. Don’t worry, your own journey can be better. Be easy, your story will be different and better,” he added.

Funnybone’s remarks have since sparked conversations online about the impact of social media content on personal beliefs, relationships, and emotional well-being.
